The first lesson at PR School is that an office move is not news. It’s not a story, nobody else will care. Well screw you, teacher – I do what I want.
To be fair, I don’t expect to see this in any papers, but for us it does feel like one of the biggest milestones in the company’s history.
For the first time we have moved out of sub-let office space and into our own three-storey central Manchester headquarters with our own name above the front door. The process of making the place comfortable and on-brand is ongoing and tremendous fun, but there’s some serious commercial impact on the business too.
First of all, having taken on such an overhead we have to keep growing. But we’re confident that this will be self-fulfilling: with a proper meeting space we can do more business such as creative workshops, photography and filming under our own roof. Without leaving the building we can host events, pitches, client hospitality, media training, screenings and so on – and our street level coffee bar is already becoming a hangout for clients, partners and friends. If only because the coffee is free.
Come and see us at 3b Tariff Street, Manchester M1 2FF.
